We stand ready to dispel the common perception that dental care has to be stressful, and our entire team will cater to your special needs and concerns.  Beginning with your first phone call to our office, you will recognize we are here to offer you first class service.  We respect the fact that your time is important and we are committed to on-time appointments.  At your first visit, we will have you complete a new patient acquaintance form.  All information provided will remain confidential as per the Health Insurance Portability and Privacy Act (HIPPA).

Before any treatment, a through examination of your teeth and supporting tissues (gums and jaw joints) will be carries out.  Dental X-rays may be required.  X- rays are a valuable diagnostic tool, which enable the dentist to check between your teeth and under old fillings for any signs of decay or disease.  We will also perform a TMJ exam, oral cancer screening, smile analysis, bite analysis, check the integrity of individual teeth, as well as examine the gum and bone support of your teeth.  During your appointment you can enjoy your favorite CD or choose one from our collection to listen to.  At the end of you treatment, expect a hot, moist towel.

All information gathered at your first visit will be used by the dentist to prepare a personalized plan, outlining the optimum dental treatment for you based on your oral health goals.  Depending on your goals and the uniqueness of your dental health, a plan for your care may be established on this initial visit.  About half of our new patient examinations require our patients to come back to our office at a later date to consult on possible treatment options due to individual case variability’s.  After the summarization and discussion of your current oral health situation, we will discuss treatment options sensitive to your goals, budget and time requirements.  Upon your agreement with the treatment recommendations you choose, we will provide you with a consent for treatment form as well as a financial options and agreement form.  We particiapate in the Care Credit Program.  For more information, please see their website.  Scheduling of your next visit is considered confirmation at the time it is made.  We will also reconfirm by telephone the day before you are due to see us.  Please consider that your appointment times have been set aside especially for you.
